ANNUAL WISCONSIN OSHA - WASA ALLIANCE REPORT August 30, 2007 I. Alliance Background This alliance was signed on June 22, 2004. Alliance Overview Historically, the predominant number of fatalities and serious injuries occur within the agricultural community in the State of Wisconsin. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Wisconsin Agri-Service Association (WASA) formed an Alliance to provide WASA members and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect employees’ health and safety, particularly in reducing and preventing exposure to hazards related to machine guarding, falls, confined spaces and lockout/tagout in the agribusiness community in Wisconsin. Implementation Team Members Kimberly Stille, Madison Area Director; Leslie Ptak, Madison Compliance Assistance Specialist; John Petty, WASA, Executive Director; Bob Willder, WASA Safety Director. II. Implementation Team Meetings No activities were held outside the annual safety conference. III. Activities and Products This report covers the period from October 18, 2006 through August 30, 2007.
