Alliance Overview

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Independent Electrical Contractors of Greater Cincinnati, Inc. (IEC) recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful American workplaces. OSHA and IEC therefore agreed to form an Alliance to use their collective expertise to help foster a culture of prevention while sharing best practices and technical knowledge, especially in the area of electrical hazards.

Two meetings were held at the IEC chapter locations to track progress and formulate activities to forward the Alliance. The meetings were held in September
