ALLIANCE ANNUAL REPORT August 14, 2007 I. Alliance Background Date Signed: March 8, 2004 Date Renewed: June 1, 2006 Alliance Overview The purpose of this alliance is to provide information, guidance and access to training resources that will help protect employee’s safety and health. In particular, reducing and preventing exposure to the most commonly identified general industry, construction and agriculture hazards for the landscape industry. Implementation Team Members The purpose of this alliance is to provide information, guidance and access to training resources that will help protect employee’s safety and health. In particular, reducing and preventing exposure to the most commonly identified general industry, construction and agriculture hazards for the landscape industry. II. Implementation Team Meetings June 1, 2006 – Alliance renewal signing. April 20, 2007 – Phone conversation regarding OSHA 10 hour training. III. Activities and Products Evaluation Period. June 1, 2006 to May 31, 2007. Alliance Activity.
IV. Results The alliance activities and products have had a positive impact on the landscape community. The quality of the articles has improved and the topics of interest continue to grow in an effort to provide OSHA guidance where most needed. Providing safety and health training in Spanish has been well received by the target audiences and appears to be successful.
