Overview

Develop training and education programs for occupational health nurses and human resource professionals regarding OSHA standards and key issues in workplace safety and health training including such topics as bloodborne pathogens, OSHA recordkeeping, emergency preparedness, MSDs and workplace violence prevention.

V. Upcoming Milestones

Wilkes-Barre CAS will present OSHA Updates at SVAPOHN conferences in October 2008; periodic OSHA Updates for SVPAOHN web site. Wilkes-Barre CAS staffed OSHA information display at the 9TH AND 10TH Annual NE Regional Occupational Safety and Health Conference (180 attendees).
