Alliance Overview:
The OSHA Philadelphia Area Office, the Roofing Contractors Association and
Roofers Local #30 Alliance goals are to provide training and education programs
geared towards the roofing industry to provide the Roofing Contactors
Association Members as well as the Roofers Local #30 members and representatives
with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them
protect employees’ health and safety, particularly in reducing and preventing
exposure to fall, electrical and other roofing industry hazards and addressing
various other safety & health issues which arise during the performance of
roofing work activity.

In the second year of the agreement, the Alliance lost momentum as a
result of a lack of common interests on the part of the participants. The
Alliance concluded on April 17, 2010.
- Upcoming Milestones
OSHA’s Philadelphia Area Office is not seeking to renew this alliance agreement
