    Recommendations

    • Carriers: Check to see if suppliers and/or distributors are providing you with reactivity hazard information about the chemicals you are transporting.
    • Distributors: if you are not a member of NACD, seriously consider how or if you address the potential for reactions in storage and handling.
    • Other Industry Organizations: Consider making reactive hazards management requirements mandatory for companies adhering to your management systems.
    • Chemical Week: Continue to cover issues involving reactive hazards management, including best
      practices being employed by industry.
