OSHA has a new administration and they have taken different approaches to achieving the agency's mission, especially with regard to enforcement and compliance assistance. This session will cover:

  • The goals and direction of the new OSHA administration.
  • Construction consistency (the Wisconsin area offices' attempts to enforce the agency's standards consistently across the state and the region.
  • Construction fatalities and current construction compliance issues.

Our speaker for this session is Brian Sturtecky, OSHA construction safety specialist. Mr. Sturtecky started his OSHA career as a compliance officer in the Chicago area and is currently working in the Chicago Regional Office overseeing all construction enforcement activity in Wisconsin, Illinois and Ohio.
