Some XRD Method Characteristics

Using the survey results, we examined the various abilities of each method received in terms of det. limit, working range, precision and accuracy, etc. to ascertain different performance characteristics internationally. Although different numbers for these variabiles were discovered it appears more due to the inconsistancy among nations in using a universal method to determine performance (i.e., calcuation of detection limits appears to be performed in as many different ways as there were responses). Also, many methods did not indicate det. limits. As shown DOF = Direct-on-filter usage. Blank spaces in each table does not necessarily indicate the method is not used by that country.
