Many conditions and operations in the shipyard that may produce hazards must be evaluated and controlled. Some of these include: Housekeeping  Illumination  Utilities  Confined or Isolated Spaces. Vessel's Radio and Radar Lifeboats  Health and Sanitation   First Aid  Note: Department of Transportation markings must be maintained on hazardous material containers. Department of Transportation Markings [1915.100] refers to the Hazard Communication Standard [1910.1200]. Note: Confined space entry is one of the leading hazards associated with barge cleaning.
