Interior Hung
An
interior hung suspension scaffold consists of a platform suspended from the ceiling or roof structure by fixed-length supports.

The requirements on this page are specific to interior hung scaffolds only. For requirements that apply to all types of suspended scaffolds, please refer to the

Interior hung scaffolds must be suspended from
roof structures (e.g., ceiling beams). [1926.452(t)(1)]
- Roof structures must be inspected for

to overhead supports by shackles, clips, thimbles, or
