Summary Nr: 202552592Event: 10/22/2010Police Department Employee Injured During Training
On October 22, 2010 Employee #1, a 44 year-old male with the City of Irvine, Irvine Police department was seriously injured in a training accident. Employee #1 suffered a fracture of the lamina and facet joint at the C6-C7 level with radiculopathy and received surgical graphing/fusing of the two vertebrae from the right ilium. Employee #1 was admitted to Hoag Hospital on October 22, 2010 underwent surgery on October 26, 2010 at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, CA.
