EL PASO, Texas -- In an effort to reduce employee injuries, illnesses and deaths in the construction industry, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration has formed a partnership with V&R Drywall Inc. in El Paso, Texas.

V&R Drywall, a predominantly Hispanic construction company that employs about 83 workers, will sign the agreement at 2:30 p.m., Dec. 13, at the company's main office on 1110 N. Piedras

"The Labor Department is committed to protecting the well being of the many Hispanic workers in America's workforce," said OSHA Regional Administrator John Miles. "It is important to assure a safe and healthful workplace for all employees."
