WASHINGTON -- Following are speech times and media availabilities for John L. Henshaw, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health, as well as other OSHA staff presentations during the National Safety Congress in San Diego, California, October 7-11, 2002

Assistant Secretary Henshaw's Schedule:

Monday, Oct. 7
11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. - Media Availability-Assistant Secretary Henshaw and Alan McMillan, NSC President & CEO, will be available to the media for Q and A or for interviews regarding the Hispanic Forum and Occupational Safety and Health (News Room: Room 23C, upper level, San Diego Convention Center).

Tuesday, Oct. 8
8:00 a.m. -9:30 a.m. - Occupational Keynote Address jointly with David Lauriski, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Mine Safety and Health.

Wednesday, Oct. 9
10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m. - Opening remarks, Hispanic Forum Plenary Session, to discuss OSHA outreach to Hispanic workers.
