US Department of Labor's acting assistant secretary for OSHA to host live Web chat on agency's regulatory agenda Monday, Dec. 7

WASHINGTON -- Acting Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Jordan Barab will discuss the agency's regulatory agenda during a live Web chat on Monday, Dec. 7, from 4 to 5 p.m. EST at http://www.dol.gov/regulations.

The OSHA chat will follow Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis' video remarks and live Web chat on the entire U.S. Department of Labor's regulatory agenda earlier in the day. Both chats are open to the public and members of the media. The agenda is in the Dec. 7 Federal Register.

Attached is OSHA's Fall 2009 Regulatory Priorities fact sheet that addresses topics including musculoskeletal disorders, cranes and derricks and combustible dust.

This event is open to news media and stakeholders.
