Signing Ceremony Scheduled for Aug. 17 in Fort Lauderdale
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Construction Association of South Florida (CASF) are joining forces to reduce injuries, illnesses and fatalities in South Florida's construction industry. An alliance signing ceremony will take place on Aug.17.
"This alliance will focus on reducing fatalities and disabling injuries that are prominent in South Florida," said Luis Santiago, OSHA's area director in Fort Lauderdale. "We will work with the association to offer information and joint training opportunities that will help ensure safe working conditions.
