OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: Pharmacy: On or about May 20, 2014 and at times prior thereto, pharmacists that prescribed and compounded cytotoxic drugs such as Rimicade, Methotraxate, and Finasteride were not included in the facility medical surveillance program. This condition exposed employees to health unknown impacts associated with handling cytotoxic drugs.
