Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:

Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of their employees employment and a place of employment which are free from the recognized hazards which are causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and/or caught-in-between hazards from automotive lifts: a. This violation was discovered on November 4, 2013; where an auto lift was operated with damaged and worn down rubber padding on swing arm. b. This violation was discovered on November 4, 2013; where an auto lift was operated without a protective cover such as a knob over the handle for the auto lift.
