OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that employees are exposed to struck by hazards. Worksite, 1001 Crooked Hill Rd. Brentwood NY - An amusement park ride operator was struck by the spinning bucket of a ride called The Scat, while standing below the operators platform; on or about 09/01/12. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
