OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to hazards related to working on or around leaking natural gas lines: a) Harmony Road, Gandeeville, WV: On or about July 17, 2016 and times prior, an employee was performing field work to detect and repair a leaking underground natural gas line. The employer did not ensure that the area in and around the gas leak was evaluated for sufficient oxygen levels or for the amount of hydrocarbons present.
