Summary Nr: 65829.015Event: 08/05/2014Employee Falls From Unguarded Equipment And Is Killed
At 11:00 p.m. on August 5, 2014, Employee #1 was walking on an elevated airport shuttle track to clear debris. He stepped over the rail on the shuttle track and fell off the unguarded side of the elevated track. He fell 43 feet to the grou nd and suffered blunt force trauma to the body and head. Employee #1 was killed.
