Summary Nr: 20675.015Event: 06/25/2012Employee Dies Of Heat Exhaustion
On June 25, 2012, an employee was driving a forklift picking up and delivering artificial turf rolls to other coworkers. Other coworkers noticed that the employee stopped driving the forklift, so they went to check on his status. The coworkers noticed that the employee was acting strange, so they encouraged the employee to exit the forklift. The employee got off the forklift and was administered water. After being administered water, the employee was still delirious. Coworkers transported the employee to the hospital, where the employee collapsed and died of possible heat exhaustion.
