Summary Nr: 142828.015 Event: 12/30/2021Employee Dies After Skid Steer Tips Over
Employee #1 (owner/operator) was instructing his grandson how to off-load a John Deere skid steer off of an equipment trailer, while he standing on the fender o f the trailer. The grandson lost control of skid steer while operating it and k nocked Employee #1 off of the equipment trailer, and the skid steer tipped over onto Employee #1, crushing him. Employee #1 was taken to MCV Hospital, where he died 16 days later.
