Summary Nr: 140070.015 Event: 11/16/2020Employee With Covid-19 Infection Dies
On November 16, 2020, an employee who had been working for a manufacturer of spe cialty industrial-grade striking, digging and cutting tools tested positive for COVID-19 infection. The employee's last day of work was Friday, November 13, 2 020. The employee was hospitalized multiple times, but the employer does not kno w if the hospitalizations were COVID-19 related. The employee had underlying med ical issues. On Saturday, April 24, 2021, the employee went to sleep at his resi dence and the next morning on Sunday, April 25, 2021 the employee's daughter and wife found him unresponsive and dead in his bed.
