Summary Nr: 132804.015 Event: 01/15/2021Employee With Covid-19 Infection Dies
At approximately 11:30 p.m. on January 15, 2021, an employee was performing norm al job duties such as ADLs on the night shift in the non-covid unit. On January 2, 2021, the employee was sent home due to illness within the first hour of thei r shift. On or about January 4, 2021, the employee was taken to the hospital due to the severity of the illness and was tested and confirmed positive for COVID- 19. The employee remained hospitalized until she died on January 16, 2021, due to complications with COVID-19.
