On January 4, 2021, an employee who had been working in the home of a client die d of COVID-19 infection. The employee reported feeling ill after leaving the hom e, but the date, time and other details leading up to exposure are not indicate d in the narrative. The employee may have been exposed to a patient or the pati ent's family member on January 1, 2021, during her 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. work s hift. According to the Corporate Workers Compensation Manager, the family member was determined to be COVID-19 positive on January 4, 2021.
