At approximately 5:13 p.m. on December 20, 2020, an employee worked in the laund ry department and was wearing required personal protective equipment while perfo rming regular work task such as: washing, drying, folding, placing new linens in cleaning closets and delivering clean sheets to patient room used by staff for residents. The employee contracted COVID-19, but the source is unknown. The empl oyer provided and required the use of personal protective equipment while perfor ming task at the facility. The employee later died from complications of the vi rus.
