Summary Nr: 131400.015 Event: 12/01/2020Employee With Covid-19 Infection Dies
At approximately 1:00 p.m. on December 1, 2020, an employee was at home and fell , resulting in the employee being hospitalized. The employee's last day of work was November 19, 2020. The employee was on a regularly scheduled weekend from No vember 20, 2020, through November 22, 2020. On November 23, 2020, the employee d id not report for work and the employer called the employee. The employee inform ed the employer that he was not feeling well. The employer instructed the employ ee to stay home and await the results of the COVID-19 test performed. On Decemb er 1, 2020, the employee died from Acute Hypoxic Respiratory Failure resulting f rom novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) SARS-CoV-2.
