Summary Nr: 131348.015 Event: 11/21/2020Employee With Covid-19 Infection Dies
At approximately 12:00 p.m. on November 21, 2020, an employee worked as an occup ational therapist in the hospital. During the week of October 12, 2020, the empl oyee assisted with the evaluation of a patient in the hospital emergency room. This patient eventually tested positive for COVID-19. The employee became ill w ith COVID-19 like symptoms on October 17 and later tested positive on October 20 , 2020. The employee was admitted to the hospital on October 23, 2020, and later died on November 23, 2020.
