At 12:30 a.m. on October 4, 2020, an employee was a merchandiser. On October 5, 2020, the Cal-OSHA Foster City District Office was notified by the employer, Saf eway, of a fatality to one of their employees that occurred on October 4, 2020. On October 16, 2020, an inspection with the employer was initiated. He died due to COVID-19 complications on October 4, 2020.
