Accident Investigation Summary
Summary Nr: 129905.015 Event: 04/11/2020Two Employees With Covid-19 Infections Die
Employees were engaged in routine work activities involving patient care and adm inistrative duties at a nursing home and were exposed to known or suspected pati ents and coworkers infected with COVID-19. Employee #1, a charge nurse, was infe cted with COVID-19 and died on April 11, 2020. Employee #2, an administrative st aff member, was infected with COVID-19 and died on April 19, 2020. A third emplo yee was hospitalized with COVID-19 but survived.
