An employee was working at a nursing care or skilled nursing facility. She was t he director of nursing at a long-term care facility or nursing home. She was not treating COVID-19-positive patients, but she was working at the facility when a n outbreak occurred. Several actions were taken to prevent the spread of the vir us at the facility. She nonetheless contracted COVID-19. At 10:45 p.m. on Augus t 8, 2020, she died from complications related to the virus.
