Summary Nr: 128692.015Event: 08/10/2020Employee Is Killed In Fall From Scissor Lift
On August 10, 2020, Employee #1, employed by a plumbing company and subcontracte d by a construction company, was performing pipe fitting work at a large steel c ommercial building that was under construction. He was working from a scissor l ift without fall protection and installing a valve when he fell, a fall height o f 20 feet, and struck the gravel surface. Employee #1 sustained blunt force tra umatic injuries and was killed.
