Summary Nr: 128100.015 Event: 04/24/2020Employee With Covid-19 Infection Dies
At approximately 12:00 a.m. on April 24, 2020, an employee returned to work on A pril 13, 2020, after being off while helping his spouse who just had their first child and told his supervisor that he was not sleeping because of the newborn. The employee was fatigued at work and his manager indicated he should get check ed for COVID-19. The manager received a call from the employee on April 20 stat ing a positive test result. The manager alerted the Regional representative. T he employee was told to track his symptoms and call the direct supervisor every day to report any symptoms for fourteen days. On all emails, the employee's tem perature remained no higher than 99 and only reported a cough. The employee di ed on April 24, 2020 from complications from the virus.
