Summary Nr: 127780.015 Event: 05/30/2020Employee With Covid-19 Infection Dies
On March 4, 2020, Employee # 1, a Certified Nursing Assistant, had completed in- service and had contact with COVID-19 positive patients. COVID-19 testing was no t available in March, so the facility was following CDC guidance. If employees e xperienced any COVID-19 symptoms, the protocol was to stop work. Employee # 1 wa s at home with COVID-19 symptoms on May 20, 2020. On May 23, 2020, he was admitt ed to the hospital due to complications from COVID-19. He died on or about May 3 0, 2020.
