Summary Nr: 127500.015 Event: 06/18/2020Employee With Covid-19 Infection Dies
An employee was working at a nursing care or skilled nursing facility. On May 25 , 2020, she was at home, when she started showing symptoms of a COVID-19 infecti on. She was tested and confirmed to have a COVID-19 infection. She did not retur n to work. At 5:30 a.m. on June 18, 2020, she died from complications of COVID-1 9. In the report, this death was described as a non-work-related fatality, but o n the victim information page, it was said that this was an OSHA-covered fatalit y.
