Summary Nr: 133410.015 Event: 02/08/2021Employee With Covid-19 Infection Dies
An employee worked primarily as an Outbound Weigher in building A. Working the s econd shift, the employee worked alone with the nearest coworker approximately 1 0 feet away from him, weighing and consolidating outbound packages. The employee 's last day of work was December 21, 2020. On December 24, 2020, the employee w as at home and informed management about not feeling well. On December 27, 2020 , the employee tested positive for COVID-19 and was admitted to the hospital on the same day. On February 8, 2021, the employee died due to complications brough t on by COVID-19.
