Summary Nr: 126184.015 Event: 05/01/2020Employee With Covid-19 Infection Dies
An employee was working as a licensed nurse practitioner at a senior living comm unity. She was exhibiting symptoms such as a light cough, followed by shortness of breath and low blood pressure. On April 14, 2020, she was hospitalized. While in the hospital, she developed pneumonia. On April 17, she was placed on a vent ilator. On April 29, 2020, she died, due to complications from COVID-19. This wa s an OSHA-covered fatality.
