Summary Nr: 125638.015 Event: 04/13/2020Employee With Covid-19 Infection Dies
At 12:00 a.m. on April 13, 2020, an employee who was a Certified Nurse Assistant worked in the facility caring for residents. The employee worked mainly on the 000 and 100 halls. The employee utilized a Dina map, med carts, Hoyer lifts, t reatment supplies/carts, and PPE. There were residents that exhibited symptoms o f COVID-19, and they were quarantined from the other residents. The employer di d not have specific knowledge of the date, time, or location of the alleged work -related exposure. The employee died from COVID-19 exposure.
