Accident Investigation Summary
Summary Nr: 123681.015Event: 01/26/2020Employee Falls And Injures Head, Later Dies
At approximately 3:00 a.m. on January 26, 2020, an employee, a 78-year-old male security guard, was operating a company provided cruiser doing patrols on the grounds. At around 8:00 p.m., the employee stopped the cruiser next to his personal vehicle and exited the cruiser. Upon exiting, the employee fell between his cruiser and his privately owned vehicle and was unable to lift himself up off the ground. According to the autopsy, the employee died from head trauma caused by hypothermia.
