Summary Nr: 123357.015Event: 01/16/2020Employee Is Struck In Head By Highway Sign And Killed After
At 8:00 p.m. on January 16, 2020, Employee #1 and Employee #2 were riding in the back of a flatbed truck moving metal frame and highway caution signs. Two cowor kers rode in the inside of the truck cab and were driving. While the truck was m oving, one of the highway caution signs flew up and struck Employee #1 and Emplo yee #2. Employee #1 fell from the moving truck and struck his head on the highwa y road, resulting in fractures to his head and was killed. No information was p rovided in the original narrative about the injuries to Employee #2.
