Summary Nr: 116795.015Event: 02/22/2019Employee Falls From Roof And Is Killed
At 7:15 a.m. on February 22, 2019, an employee was located on the roof of a two- story duplex apartment to survey the condition of work that had been completed. The building overlooked a courtyard, which the employee set up an extension ladd er to access the roof. Before descending the ladder, the employee was speaking w ith his son who was working on the roof of another building that shared the same courtyard. The employee lost consciousness and fell forward off the roof to th e courtyard and was killed.
