At 2:00 p.m. on March 31, 2019, an employee was working at the cash register in the hospital's cafeteria and had checked items at the end of check-out counter b efore walking towards the trash can. The employee lost her balance and fell bac kwards, fracturing several ribs when she landed on the ground. The employee was hospitalized for 13 days before dying from complications.
