Summary Nr: 114345.015Event: 02/27/2019Employee Fractures Leg When Forklift Falls
At 2:25 p.m. on February 27, 2019, Employee #1 was unloading pallets from a trai ler, using a forklift. As he unloaded the fourth pallet from the trailer, the tr uck driver pulled away from the loading dock to close his trailer doors, with th e forklift still inside the trailer. The forklift fell from the truck trailer wi th the employee still inside, landing between the dock and the trailer. Employee #1 sustained fractures to his leg in three places.
