Summary Nr: 112692.015 Event: 12/18/2018Employee Amputates Finger When Caught Between Juicer'S Hydra
At 2:15 a.m. on December 18, 2018, an employee was filling a transfer cart with pineapple juice to when his hand was caught between the Juice Line Press' hydrau lic cylinder and the stopper. The employee had been resting his right hand over the stopper while directing it's piping that would transfer the pressed pineapp le juice into a transfer cart. The employee amputated his finger and was hospit alized.
