Summary Nr: 111918.015Event: 12/16/2018Employee Fractures Skull In Fall From Scaffold, Later Dies
At 10:30 a.m. on December 16, 2018, an employee was painting a restroom shower stall while working from a movable scaffold that stood approximately 2 feet above ground level. He lost his balance and fell backwards. The employee struck his head on the concrete floor and suffered a fractured skull with bleeding on the brain. The employee was hospitalized and died five days later.
