Summary Nr: 111866.015Event: 12/11/2018Employee Incurs Multiple Injuries In Fall From Ladder
At 1:30 p.m. on December 11, 2018, Employee #1, employed by a painting company, was working on a multi-employer construction project, a two-story residential st ructure. He was outside on a ladder and taping a window in preparation for pain ting. The ladder, which was not properly secured, slipped, fell, and hit a porc h railing. The employee fell, a fall height of approximately 14 feet, and then rolled down a hill. The employee was transported to the hospital, where he was admitted and treated for a laceration to the head, shoulder strain, and neck str ain.
