Summary Nr: 109923.015Event: 10/09/2018One Employee Injured Another Is Killed When Struck By Fallin
At 8:30 a.m. on October 9, 2018, Employees #1 and #2 were standing on the bed of a tractor trailer after rigging a load of four structural steel beams being hoi sted by crane to an upper level of a building under construction. Three of the f our steel beams being hoisted became displaced and fell striking the both employ ees below. Employee #1 was hospitalized with multiple fractures. Employee #2 suf fered multiple fractures and was killed.
