At 11:45 a.m. on September 27, 2018, an employee was operating a DoBoy Wrapper M achine on the B side of Line 9 while wrapping cookies and crackers. The employe e used her left hand to hold the cello and feed it into the crimping wheels so t hat the cello would align properly. The employee looked away from the machine w hile making a run and degloved and amputated her left hand's index fingertip whe n it was caught in the nip point. The employee was hospitalized.
