Summary Nr: 106866.015Event: 06/26/2018Employee Is Killed In Fall From Scaffold System
At 2:45 p.m. on June 26, 2018, an employee was performing ship blasting work aboard a military vessel, which he accessed by way of a scaffold system that was 44 feet high. Following the end of the employee's shift, he exited the vessel and began to descend the scaffolding and fell. There were no witnesses and the employee was killed in the fall.
