At 8:40 p.m. on April 5, 2018, an employee was operating the 906 Autobender machine while standing next to the tension arm and used a hydraulic wire cutter to cut a wire that was jammed. When the employee cut the wire, it swung towards the machine and the tension arm moved away from the coil, striking the employee on the right side of his torso. The employee was hospitalized with blunt force trauma to his upper ribs on his right side.
